More than 40 restaurants and premium beverages are providing samples and sponsoring The Living Desert’s 6th Annual Brew at the Zoo to be held Saturday, May 2 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Brew at the Zoo is a wildly popular event set amidst the spectacular backdrop of The Living Desert’s wildlife and botanical garden. Attendees are able to experience a unique culinary journey with unlimited samplings of craft beer, wine, specialty liquors, and savory and sweet bites from the Coachella Valley’s premier restaurants.

While enjoying the diverse selection of food and beverages, guests can party down to live music from bands such as Bleeding Harp, Zulluu, The Shadow Mountain Band, and 212 Band (featured in the VIP lounge), as well as showcase their own talents with Wolfblade Karaoke.
The Living Desert’s catering group, “A Taste of the Wild,” has once again generously sponsored the exclusive Brew VIP Lounge. VIP ticket holders will be entertained at a private reception in the Littlefield Gallery/Lurie Patio featuring deluxe theme food stations and premium brand beverage selections and Ben and Jerry’s signature Cheetah sundaes from Rancho Mirage – plus their very own VIP animal encounter entertainment.
Other major event sponsors include Fidelity National Title, Heimark Distributing, Signature Party Rentals, Two Bunch Palms, Palms Springs Nissan, Ace Printing and Sis Jackson.
Proceeds generated from Brew at the Zoo support The Living Desert’s mission and make it possible for them to provide care for over 400 animals, 1,200 protected acres, and impact scholarship programs for thousands of visiting school children.
Tickets are $45 for members and $55 for non-members. Prices at the door are $50 for members, $60 for non-members and $35 for designated drivers. A limited number of VIP Lounge tickets are offered at $125 and include a private reception in the VIP Lounge, premium food and beverage selections, special animal encounters and unlimited access to main event area.
