Each morning we rise out of bed and venture into our day. Some of us wake with a drive and purpose. Others may dread getting out of bed because they are unsure of their direction in life. Do you know your purpose? Are you living your purpose? Are you seeking your purpose? Do you feel as though something is missing in your life?

Possessing direction is what drives us, without it we feel confused. My personal belief is that each person is born to live a life with a mission. The task at hand is defining your purpose. There is no doubt that everyone has experienced confusion whether or not they are fulfilling their personal goals. Let’s face it we have been in jobs we hated and wondered if we were following the right career path. We have all faced this struggle and challenge.

Someone posed the question to me the other day over the phone, “Do you like what you do?” I have never met this person before and I found it odd that he asked. After the call I pondered, what a poignant and rich question to ask a stranger. YES, I love what I do! I am serving my desire and I have been called to action to help others. Six years ago I was unsure of my personal relevance. The key to finding my passion was by putting my life into ACTION.

You can sit back and dream about the things you want and desire but it is action that will take you to your destination. Is it possible to have more than one purpose and be passionate about several things that interest you? Absolutely! There are no set rules. But, you do have to live your drive rather than daydream. Plus, once you take action you will feel confident about yourself and what you are doing.

What does your heart tell you? What do you love? When you lead with your heart and feel passion for what you are doing the rest will fall into place. It would be difficult to live with purpose if you are in a stagnant and unhappy position. If you are unfulfilled, it is time to get your affairs in order to live with motivation.

Remember you don’t have to choose “ONE” thing to be passionate about in your life. Allow multiple things that interest you. That is when you will be fulfilled. If you are thinking of changing a few things in your life get a piece of paper and jot down what makes you happy. Be sure to include the things that don’t make you happy. Hopefully this will be helpful in finding your dreams.

Living a purposeful life is what each of us deserves. You are here one time. Live your life to its fullest potential. Think about what you would like to leave as your legacy.
