After over a quarter of a century of providing instruments, sound equipment and accessories to our valley’s vast numbers of talented musical entrepreneurs, Musician’s Outlet has become more than a local business, it is an institution. Opened by Randy Hewitson in 1986, Musicians Outlet has been the main resource for all the amazing live music you and I are fortunate to enjoy here in the Coachella Valley. This Sunday, October 28th from 12 – 8pm, this institution will be throwing an anniversary party as only they can.
The entertainment includes a lineup of some of the valley’s favorite bands: In Viridian, Susanne Oliver, The Arrangements, 212, John Stanley King Band, Rockaholics and The F-13 will all be taking turns at overwhelming your musical taste buds and testing your resistance to dance in public. Meanwhile, Big Mama’s Soul Food will be satisfying your more traditional buds by providing a barbeque that you will be unashamed to post unabashedly on your Facebook inciting the envy of all those not present.
A guitar will be given away EVERY hour during the event along with a plethora of other raffle prizes and give-aways including an Elvis Presley Kingman by Fender. And as if that weren’t enough, the store will be offering $26 off all musical equipment and 26% off all accessories.
This Sunday is THE day to visit your old friend or get newly acquainted with Musicians Outlet, the only full-line music store in the valley. They are the best place to find new, used and vintage gear. They are also the place to go for music instruction, be it voice, piano, flute, recorder, drums, woodwinds, brass, violin, viola, cello, guitar or any other fretted instrument. Their instructors have excellent reputations, resumes and experience. They also offer repairs including re-string, set-ups, electronics, complete overhauls and more.
