“As our world changes around us on this threshold of a new era, we begin to awaken to the remembrance of our divinity…It is no longer imperative that we live under the shroud of spiritual amnesia. We have gathered the knowledge and earned the wisdom to remember.” –Gratitude + Forgiveness x (Love) = Happiness, by Aimee Mosco and Donald L. Ferguson, page 12.

We all come into this world with the appropriate equipment and wiring to receive intuitive communications. The problem is, most of us don’t remember, thanks to spiritual amnesia, that intuition is actually the most natural form of communication that exists. It is a versatile language that carries messages between and among living beings as well as between your inner and outer self. It can’t be measured, seen or proven by science so many human beings are not convinced that it is real.

Have you ever stepped into a room where two people had just been arguing? You can feel the anger. It is your intuition that allows you to feel the energetic temperature of that room. The anger lingers so you likely feel that something unpleasant happened even when the verbal fighting is over. You may not recognize this as a function of intuition, but that’s what it is. Your intuitive receptors pick up the energy projections cast off during the argument and process them. You then are able to recognize the vibrations as tension.

We all receive communications projected from inner self through intuitive channels, but these vibrations are often mistaken for thoughts. If you haven’t taken time to cultivate your intuitive abilities, it is hard to tell the difference between guidance and mental processing, but as you begin to awaken, remember that you are of divine origins, and acknowledge your inner self as a viable source of information, your intuitive receptors become more sensitive. When this happens, the clarity of the communications heightens.

Your intuition will open organically when you nurture it with belief and appreciation. If you would like to guide the process along, here are some suggestions:

  • Acknowledge and appreciate that intuition is an important form of communication
  • Remind yourself that you are wired to receive these communications
  • Have the intent to open communications with your inner self
  • Ask for your inner self to speak with clarity to you through your psychic receptors

There are many ways to embrace your intuitive abilities and strengthen them so you can use them on command. Use your creativity and know that intuition is much like a muscle. Once you begin to use it and give it attention, it will grow strong.
