If there’s one band that never fails to make me hit repeat, it’s Fitz and The Tantrums and I couldn’t be more thrilled that they’re headed to the desert this Friday night, February 27 for a live show at The Show inside Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs.

For years I’ve loved watching this LA-born band evolve from a buzzy indie act into one of pop’s most irresistible live performers. Their sound a buoyant mix of soul, indie pop, and irresistible hooks hits that sweet spot between feel-good nostalgia and modern energy in a way few bands can match. Whether it’s blasting “HandClap” on a road trip or singing “Out of My League” at the top of my lungs, their music has soundtracked countless moments in my life.

While Fitz and The Tantrums have played major festival stages like Coachella in the past thrilling desert crowds under open skies, this will be their first time bringing a headline show to The Show at Agua Caliente in the greater Palm Springs area.

Fans attending Friday’s concert can expect the hits that helped define the band’s rise, from the 4x-Platinum “HandClap” and 3x-Platinum “Out of My League” to Platinum “The Walker” and Gold “Moneygrabber.” Known for their dynamic live energy, the group has also lit up television stages on shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and has headlined venues ranging from Kia Forum to Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

They’re also previewing material from their forthcoming album Man On The Moon, setting the stage for their 2025 Man On The Moon Tour. If the new songs are anything like their classic anthems, this show promises both nostalgia and fresh excitement.

For anyone who loves pop with heart and energy that hits straight to the soul, this is the show to be at. I know I’ll be there buzzing on every beat and ready for one unforgettable night in the desert.
