Community Invited to Mark Major Milestone with Ceremony, Speakers, and Facility Tours
ABC Recovery Center proudly invites the community to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new campus expansion on June 15, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This milestone event marks a significant step forward in expanding access to lifesaving behavioral health services across the Coachella Valley.
The celebration will bring together local leaders, community partners, and supporters for a morning of recognition, inspiration, and connection, highlighting the impact of ABC’s $27 million state-funded expansion project.
“This moment represents more than new buildings—it reflects hope, healing, and the power of community,” said Chris Yingling, CEO of ABC Recovery Center. “We are proud to open our doors and share this space with the community that made it possible.”
Event Highlights
10:30 AM – Welcome & Opening Remarks Guests will be welcomed with remarks from ABC Recovery Center leadership, sharing the vision behind the expansion and its impact on the community.
11:00 AM – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Hosted in partnership with the City of Indio, the official ribbon cutting will commemorate the opening of the facility with city officials and community leaders.
11:30 AM – Guest Speakers Hear from distinguished representatives at the state, county, board, and ABC leadership levels, reflecting on the importance of expanding behavioral health services in the region.
12:30 PM – Facility Tours Guided tours led by ABC employees will showcase the new campus, including residential spaces, clinical areas, and wellness-focused amenities designed to support recovery.
A Transformational Expansion
The newly expanded campus will significantly increase ABC Recovery Center’s capacity, adding 120 new licensed beds across seven buildings, and enhancing the organization’s ability to serve individuals seeking recovery.
“Every space within this campus was designed intentionally—to foster connection, dignity, and healing,” Yingling added. “We are honored to share this next chapter with the community.”
