Come celebrate Independence Day in Palm Springs at the City’s much loved “All American Fourth of July” fireworks spectacular and Power Baseball extravaganza on Friday, July 4 at Palm Springs Stadium.
To keep cool, the day will start off with special holiday swim hours at the Palm Springs Pavilion, 401 S. Pavilion Way. The pool will be open from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. followed by a free concert in Sunrise Park starting at 5:30 p.m., featuring the Boys and Girls Club and the Heatwave Jazz and Show Band. Then watch the Power take on the San Diego Force at 6:00 p.m. followed by patriotic fireworks at 9:15 p.m. FREE admission for the fireworks show begins at 8 p.m. and everyone is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs and sit on the field at Palm Springs Stadium.
“When it comes to celebrating Independence Day, Palm Springs does it like no place else,” said Mayor Steve Pougnet. “I invite everyone in the Coachella Valley and beyond to bring your patriotic spirit, your red, white and blue and come celebrate an All American Fourth of July in our fantastic city. Without a doubt, you’ll always have a great time in Palm Springs.”
