Hollywood Hotspot Brings New Nightlife Experience to Palm Springs
By Laura Hunt Little
The highly anticipated opening of Bardot Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs offers locals and visitors a unique, upscale club experience in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs. Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 31, the club will welcome guests into a destination where music, service and fun converge to create a setting unlike any other in the area.
Bardot mixes French disco décor and Palm Springs chic with state-of-the-art sound and lighting installations to create a captivating nightlife space, complete with VIP booths, bottle service and DJs known for getting people out on the dance floor.
“We’re excited to partner with the Hard Rock Hotel to bring the Bardot experience to Palm Springs,” said Dave Dean, representing the Bardot and Avalon nightclub brands. “We’ve heard from locals and visitors that there was a need for a dedicated nightclub destination in the city, so we set out to provide that. We’re thrilled with the outcome and we’re really excited to unveil it to the city.”
What can club-goers expect from the new destination? It’s not your average nightclub. For starters, a dress code will be strictly enforced. No ball caps, sandals or athletic wear. Bardot is all about style. It is a place to see and be seen. Fashionistas will fit in perfectly.
Fun and funky furnishings of high-backed chairs and chaises are being installed to set the upscale, arty tone of the club, and no doubt, spots for selfies of club goers. Textures abound across the walls with bold and swirling patterns, blended perfectly with metallic surfaces and broken up with lighting installations and surround sound.
Expect great music of the EDM variety; but, not too hip-hop. Featured DJ’s will set a pulsing tone to bring guests to their feet on the dance floor. EDM mash-ups and remixes will mesmerize and take guests on a journey of sound throughout their evening experience. The latest audio visual technology will sync a light show to the music of the DJ in an atmosphere unparalleled in Palm Springs.
Already a go-to destination in Hollywood, the opening of Bardot in Palm Springs brings a new generation of nightlife to the city, welcoming club goers, music fans and experience seekers alike. For years in Hollywood, Bardot has attracted A-listers as a destination for the quality of the experience. Bardot in Palm Springs is set to do the same.
One beautiful addition being installed just in time for the opening is an original mural by artist Stuart Patterson of Colorola Studios. The mural is a bold graphic of three Palm Springs chic modern flappers against a brightly patterned design. The ten-foot high art can be seen from the entrance as well as from the bar.
Book a VIP table at Bardot to get the full effect of the top-notch service being offered. Setting up bottle service for your party is red carpet all the way. Your reservation will be personally confirmed by the VIP Host. When your party arrives, you will be escorted to your table and assigned a personal server for the evening. Bottle service includes mixers and exclusive location on the edge of the dance floor.
Expect a general admission cover charge of $10 per person on a standard evening at Bardot, with the fee waived if you arrive early, that is, before 11pm. On occasions when there is a special performer, ticket prices will be set accordingly.
With the opening of Bardot, Hard Rock will revamp the activities in its lobby to offer an entirely different vibe for hotel guests. Previously the location for pulsing music, Hard Rock’s Lobby Bar will now offer a chill lounge, perfect for a rendezvous or mellow cocktail.
Bardot will be open regularly Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Located within the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs at 150 S. Indian Canyon, Bardot is also available for private events. Table reservations are highly recommended and can be made online. For more information, or to book a VIP Table, visit www.hrhpalmsprings.com/bardot.
