In just over a year of operation, Big Rock Stages has offered prime event production services across the Coachella Valley to thousands of spectators. Featuring their incredible STAGELINE SL100 MOBILE STAGE, the multi-faceted production can provide any event with a professional performance stage brought to your location and set-up for use in as little as one hour. Add in their professional sound engineering and stage lighting options, the stage is the perfect platform for live entertainment, festivals, public address, ceremonies such as weddings or graduations, fundraising and charity events, and is the industry standard for use as a live broadcast platform.
Since 2016, Big Rock is a name that is synonymous with hosting professional live entertainment. Its Indio venue and restaurant has played host to numerous performers ranging from popular local bands to prominent international touring artists. Big Rock has also produced large events spanning classic car shows and auctions to awards shows, and countless charity events. Now, Big Rock is bringing the same experience to outdoor locations across Southern California and beyond!
The Big Rock Stage is a professional, industry standard STAGELINE SL100 mobile stage. It offers an elevated performance deck with full coverage roof. It is designed for professional audio and light rigging as well as modern video walls. They offer numerous options for clients to brand their event with stunning custom banners packages. As stated previously, set-up times are remarkably less than one hour and the solid roof keeps the sun and rain off performers. Big Rock Stages is the superior choice for staging in the Coachella Valley.
Beyond staging, Big Rock offers professional audio P.A. systems, which can be customized to the size and style of the event. Their audio engineers have decades of experience producing live and staged events. Add in concert lighting and video projection to complete performances; they are happy to work with you to create an incredible experience.
Some of the events Big Rock Stages has had the honor of hosting so far include; Concert for Autism, Rock the Ride, About Families/Family Fall Festival, Indio BBQ Festival, Indio International Tamale Festival, Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival and the Dr. George Charity Car Show to name a few. The stage is delivered and customized to suit the specific needs of each respective event. The meticulous preparation and coordination by Big Rock staff, makes for an extraordinary presentation for audiences.
Big Rock Pub and Big Rock Stages owner Ken Hanna shared that well-respected and veteran sound engineers Gregory Little and Jeff Mazer expressed the need for a more versatile stage to meet the needs of the ever-growing entertainment industry in the Coachella Valley. “The valley had no real professional stage service so I’m thankful Greg and Jeff brought that to my attention. My vision for Big Rock investing in the stage is that we can offer it at local events for a more reliable and affordable price. In the past, we had to bring in stages from Los Angeles, so this option is much more convenient for us and its benefits to desert events are endless!”
Each time the Big Rock Stage is used there has been an element of wonder and amazement. As a focal point, the stage has a tendency to turn heads. So far, there have been plenty of special moments and performances on the stage. Ken has a lot of treasured moments, but shares one that is closest to his heart. “One of my favorite highlights was donating the stage to the Dr. George Car Show at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. That event was a breakthrough for the stage and all funds went to the Desert Cancer Foundation. I was told by several people involved that the stage was a game changer.”
As stage, sound and lighting technician for Big Rock Stages, Jeff Mazer brings decades of knowledge to the Big Rock Stages team. Jeff also provides sound and lighting for Big Rock Pub’s indoor music venue. As a multi-instrumentalist, Jeff has a unique insight like no other. He can play keyboards, guitar, bass guitar, vocals…you name it!
