
The iconic 70’s hard rock – blues band behind 17 studio albums will perform in the Morongo Grand Ballroom on Friday, May 23.
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa – Foghat, the legendary English rock band who rose to fame with hits such as “Slow Ride,” “Fool for the City” and “I Just Want to Make Love to You,” will bring their classic tunes and blues riffs to the Morongo Grand Ballroom on Friday, May 23.
Known for their innovative use of the electric slide guitar, the bluesy boogie band formed in 1971, releasing 17 studio albums, including eight gold albums and one platinum; along with a double platinum live album.
With founding drummer Roger Earl at the helm and longtime lead and slide guitarist Bryan Bassett, the band has continued to rock for 54 years, releasing their latest album – Sonic Mojo – in 2023.
“Over the past five decades, Foghat has cemented their legacy among rock royalty. From their 1975 rock anthem ‘Slow Ride’ to their library of blues burners and rock boogie, the band’s energy and chemistry together are infectious,” said Amy Hunstock, Morongo’s Vice President of Marketing.
