Emmy Award-winner, Saturday Night Live alumni, and celebrated funny man Dana Carvey has been a part of the fabric of American comedy since the mid-80’s and now he’s set to have audiences roaring with laughter at The Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Friday, March 24th.

Dana Carvey rose to fame during a six-year stint on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, in which he played several fan-favorite characters including “Church Lady,” “Garth” and “Hans,” as well as spot-on impersonations of President George H.W. Bush, Johnny Carson, Ross Perot and Regis Philbin. Carvey’s work on SNL earned him six Emmy Award nominations, including a 1993 Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program. He also received numerous American Comedy Awards and an MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Duo for his performance in Wayne’s World. In addition to SNL, Carvey has appeared on The Larry Sanders Show, Just Shoot Me!, The Fairly OddParents, and his self-titled 1996 series, The Dana Carvey Show, which also featured fellow comedians Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert, as well as SNL writer Robert Smigel.

On the big screen, Carvey memorably starred in Wayne’s World, Wayne’s World 2 and The Road to Wellville. He also contributed his voice to two recent animated features, Hotel Transylvania 2 and The Secret Life of Pets.

Dana Carvey’s latest audience pleasers include an exciting game show on USA Network, First Impressions, in which Carvey and co-host Freddie Prinze Jr. host weekly competitions between America’s best emerging impressionists and special celebrity guests.  He also just debuted a brand new standup special for Netflix entitled Straight White Male, 60.
