“Family-Friendly Dance Parties” Ignite Spring Concerts at Freedom Plaza

The Levitt AMP Twentynine Palms Music Series is turning up the energy this spring—bringing bigger crowds, vibrant performances, and a brand-new reason to arrive early: Family Dance Parties.

Every Saturday night, Freedom Plaza transforms into a high-energy, all-ages celebration—free live music at 7 PM, with interactive dance experiences kicking things off at 6 PM.

“There’s nothing better than watching our community—especially our kids—get up and dance. That’s what this is all about: connection, joy, and moving together.”
— Audrey Philpot, Committee Chair

This isn’t just a concert series—it’s a community gathering point. A place where neighbors meet, families connect, and public space comes alive.

Thanks to support from the Rotary Club of Twentynine Palms, local dance instructors are leading the charge getting the crowd moving before the first note even hits the stage.

Come early. Dance together. Stay for the music.

What’s Next on Stage

April 25 – Double the Music, Double the Energy

Start the night at 6 PM with the Latina Dance Project, bringing an interactive, all-ages dance experience that invites everyone to jump in.

Kicking off the show is Steve Jones, a genre-defying powerhouse blending “Celtic Country Electric Blues Punk Rock” into a sound that’s entirely his own. With a career spanning major artists, bands, and media, Jones delivers both edge and authenticity.

Headlining the night: Carly Ann Calbero, whose powerhouse vocals and Pacific Northwest roots channel raw emotion and stage presence. A rising force on the West Coast, she’s an artist you feel as much as you hear.

May 2 – Grand Finale of the Spring Series

At 6 PM, Twinkle Toes Dance Company brings playful, family-friendly movement to the plaza—perfect for all ages.

Opening the evening is Neil Soiland, a Los Angeles–based artist crafting cinematic, retro-inspired soundscapes with a modern twist.

Closing the season in style: Dan Navarro and band. A true icon of Americana, Navarro’s four-decade career spans hit songwriting, touring, film, and voice acting. His performances are rich, soulful, and unforgettable.
