Indian Wells has a reputation as a true world-class destination for it’ rich history and natural beauty to be enjoyed by travelers, locals and seasonal residents. Within the city sits a jewel known as the Indian Wells Golf Resort (IWGR) which is well known for golf, dining and entertainment. The resort has gained rapid popularity and is ranked in Golf Weeks Top 20 “Best Courses You Can Play” in California, being the only 36-hole public course listed. The clubhouse is known for its unique architecture and an extraordinary 53,000 square feet offering a wide range of upscale amenities.

It was recently announced that the Indian Wells Golf Resort is undergoing some very exciting changes to enhance the visitor experience. According to Director of Sales & Marketing Michael Tebbetts, “Although the clubhouse is quite large we found that we were lacking in space for private parties and events to the point we had to turn away business for larger groups.” IWGR found a one-of-a-kind solution for their space inequity.
IWGR recently held a groundbreaking to begin construction of a stunning 5,700 square feet climate-controlled pavilion with indoor and outdoor space for up to 400 guests. Located just across the bridge between the first tees of the Celebrity and Players Courses the panoramic vistas are like none other in the desert. The completion date is slated for December 2013.
