Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 25th, 26th and 27th the 3rd annual “Morongo Valley Music Festival” takes place under the pavilion at beautiful Covington Park near The Big Morongo Canyon Preserve in Morongo Valley, CA. The three day, local-live music festival features over 30 bands this year, including ‘Desert Legend’ Sean Wheeler, Rosa Pullman, Jesika Von Rabbit, The Freeks and Hammer of the Ozz. Earlier this year, our May music festival “Morongo Daze” featured Blues Traveler guitarist and founding member Chan Kinchla’s solo project W4RHORS3. JT CITY LIMITS’s “Morongo Daze” fest was recently nominated for “Outstanding Musical Event” of 2024 by Joshua Tree Voice magazine.
This year’s music festival happens during the annual Morongo Valley Youth Softball League’s Annual Halloween Extravaganza, which is set to feature a beer garden hosted by The Happy Cooker, over 42 local food and craft vendors, 43 cars for Saturday’s Trunk or Treat event and Zombie Shootout (offered all three days, fee entry applies). Hours for the Extravaganza are Friday Oct. 25th from 5PM to 10PM. Saturday Oct. 26th from 11AM to 10PM and Sunday Oct. 27th from 11AM to 8PM.
