A dynamic local couple, Joanne and Jamie Pantuso, who moved to the Coachella Valley after years of vacationing in the area, are poised to offer a completely new approach to assisted living options. After retiring from prominent careers in San Francisco, the Pantuso’s decided to combine their skills to create a distinctive level of boutique care that enriches daily living experiences, promotes well-being, stimulates joy, and above all, nurtures happiness. While going through the end-of-life stages with a dear friend who was in assisted living in a clinical lackluster setting, they felt a heartache for the friend and others they saw living the final chapter of their lives in such settings. Shortly into retirement, the two felt a calling to create change in the assisted living care landscape. The couple’s backgrounds were a perfect marriage of making this vision a reality.
AmberCare, launching with two spectacular private homes located in beautiful South Palm Desert, will transcend senior living in the Coachella Valley. The Pantuso’s have brought a “beginner mindset” in conceptualizing and creating the two Amber Houses, along with a sound business plan to ensure success. The boutique senior living homes have been masterfully renovated and reconstructed from the ground up. Both homes offer six bedrooms where small, intimate and quaint environments lead the way to exceptional quality of care and service.
