Mama’s House Ministries has definite cause for celebration, not only for its 12 successful years of serving vulnerable women in our Valley, but for hosting an overflow crowd of 800 guests at its highly-acclaimed 12th Annual HEARTbeat Of Love Luncheon at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells.

Mama’s House provides a safe, supportive, loving, and nurturing home for women in crisis, whether pregnant or with an infant, who have no place to go and no means of support. The Anne Silverstein Campus For Mama’s House offers mothers and their children shelter and an extensive one-of-a- kind program of Hope, helping mothers find the courage to carry their baby to term or parent when facing uncertainty and hurdles.
“There are many more women in crisis who need a solid foundation to stand on, a new path forward, and hope for a beautiful future,” said Anne Thompson-Silverstein. “My question is what better investment of resources can there be than the restoration of broken lives?”

The organization’s highly successful, faith-based Pathways To Success Program, is a once in a lifetime “hands up” opportunity for these vulnerable women to find coverage within themselves to face a brighter future with newfound help. The Anne Silverstein campus for Mama’s House has enabled the organization to more than quadruple the number of moms and infants it can serve. With nurturing support, these mothers are being equipped with necessary life skills for stability, recovery, and self-sufficiency.
Festivities for this year’s luncheon commenced with an elegant VIP Reception at the stunning Toscana Country Club on the evening prior to the luncheon, with Keynote Speaker Kayleigh McEnany in attendance for top level supporters. This year luncheon program was fast paced, featuring a silent auction prior to guests entering the ballroom. Program highlights included a live auction, paddle race, a touching video tribute to Jan Lupia, Founder of Mama’s House, testimonials, and a presentation on the Mama’s House Friends 4 Life Monthly Giving Program.

Kayleigh McEnany, former White House Press Secretary and current Co-host of Outnumbered on the FOX News Channel, was this year’s keynote speaker. Prior to serving in the White House as Press Secretary, Kayleigh worked as the National Press Secretary for the Trump Campaign. Prior to that, Kayleigh served as the National Spokesperson for the Republican National Committee, and worked as a Political Commentator for CNN. She graduated from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctor and from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Services, receiving a degree in International Politics. She also studied Politics and International Relations at Oxford University. Kayleigh is the recipient of the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary’s Public Service Award. She is the author of the New York Times best-selling book “For Such A Time As This: My Faith Journey Through The White House and Beyond.”

“When I think of Mama’s House, I think of family,” said Jon Harnish, Interim Chairman of the Board. “I think of a community for women who don’t have any other place to go, least of all a stable support system. Mama’s House is that support system, offering a broad-based approach and personalized programming to all who enter into this loving environment. Mama’s House instills in the heart of each woman their own belief that there is something better for them and their babies.”

As Kayleigh McEnany stepped to the podium, where she was greeted with a standing ovation from guests, she remarked “What awesome support is in this room. After visiting the Anne Silverstein Campus for Mama’s House, I am blown away by the Mama’s House mission. I cannot think of a better cause of supporting mothers and their children in a time of need. There are signs of faith everywhere at Mama’s House, and that faith is inspiring. We must love these mothers as much as we love these babies. These women are often overwhelmed with fear. You all are heroes to make a decision to have children and to be there for your child – and you are not alone.”
Guests were reminded to Save The Date of Saturday, February 7, 2026 for the 13th Annual HEARTbeat Of Love Luncheon.
