Mama’s House Ministries 13th Annual HEARTbeat Of Love Luncheon once again hit it “out of the park,” wowing guests and exceeding its fundraising goals. More than 800 loyal supporters attended this year’s luncheon in support of the organization’s core mission – to provide a safe, supportive, loving, and nurturing residential home for women in crisis, whether pregnant or with an infant, who have no place to go and no means of support. The organization’s highly successful, faith-based Pathways To Success Program, offers a once in a lifetime “hands up” opportunity for these vulnerable women wishing to change their situations.

“The Mama’s House Program is built to help these women succeed,” said Patricia McDonnell, Mama’s House Co-founder and Board Chair. “We gently enter the lives of these mothers facing crisis pregnancies to replace fear with hope, and to wrap both mother and child in love, dignity, and the promise of a future. We prepare them to live independently and provide for their children, in addition to being able to stand on their own with dignity and strength. By the time a mother graduates from Mama’s House she is no longer just surviving – – she is thriving. Every mother is honored for her courage and her choices.”
This year’s two-day event commenced with a sold out VIP Dinner Reception, preceding the Saturday luncheon, for top level sponsors at the iconic Wally’s Desert Turtle in Rancho Mirage. Guests dined on a scrumptious four-course dinner, while having the opportunity to be photographed and chat one-on-one with three nationally prominent guest speakers including Rylie Gaines, Pastor Rob McCoy, and Emily Compagno. An informative Q & A took place during dinner, where Gaines, McCoy, and Compagno shared heartwarming stories about their personal relationships with Charlie Kirk.

“This event would not be possible without the extraordinary generosity of Anne and Marshall Silverstein, who were the sponsors of our VIP Dinner Reception and the three Luncheon Speakers, said Maurae Quigley. “We are deeply thankful for the way they continually show up for Mama’s House and the moms and babies we serve. We are also grateful to all our event sponsors who truly are the heart of this organization. Your generosity throughout the year sustains our mission, and ensures that our doors remain open to the mothers and babies who need us most. You lift Mama’s House up through your prayers, encouragement, and steadfast belief in the work unfolding here.”

The year’s luncheon was a tribute to Charlie Kirk, who had been scheduled as the guest speaker before his assassination. Luncheon guests were treated to not one but three well-known speakers this year, including Rylie Ganes, 12x NCAA All-American Swimmer, Rob McCoy, Senior Pastor of Godspeak Calvary Chapel and Faith Co-chair of Turning Point USA, and Emily Compagno, FOX News Co-Host. Commencing at 10:00 am with a silent auction showcasing over 200 items, guests thoroughly enjoyed and actively participated in the high energy live auction during lunch, as well as, the successful Moment Of Giving, led by Auctioneer Chris Sheik, and assisted by Emcee Emily Compagno.
“I was truly honored to sponsor our first-ever sold out VIP Dinner at Wally’s,” said, Anne Silverstein, Mama’s House, Co-founder and Honorary Board Member.” I am deeply grateful to Maddy Botello for her extraordinary hospitality and generosity. She and her team at Wally’s created an elegant evening that set the tone for what became our most impactful VIP event to date. And, this year’s luncheon was nothing short of inspiring! Our speakers – – Riley Gaines, Rob McCoy, and Emily Compagno — delivered powerful messages that are instrumental in educating our community about the value and dignity of every unborn life. Their voices, courage, and conviction resonated deeply with our guests, and helped to make this year’s gathering the best we have ever had. We are also incredibly thankful to Maurae Quigley and Patricia McDonnell for hosting such a marvelous event, and to our devoted Mama’s House Board, whose leadership and commitment make this mission possible. Together, we are continuing to build a community that stands for life, hope, and a future for the women and babies we serve.”
