Mama’s House Ministries is proud and honored to be one of four Coachella Valley nonprofits chosen to benefit from this year’s spectacular Diamond Wish Fashion Week El Paseo, commencing on Friday, March 13, 2026 and running through Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Organized by Palm Springs Life, Diamond Wish Fashion Week El Paseo is a total fashion experience, with six days of shows, receptions, after parties, pop-up shops, in-store events, and celebrity meet and greets. Some if this year’s featured designers include Charles Harbison, Kevin Hall, and Sergio Hudson. This spectacular, not-to-be-missed fashion event is recognized as the West Coast’s largest fashion week, sponsored by California Bank & Trust.
The Mama’s House Ministries “Runway For A Purpose” Fashion Show, featuring designer Charles Harbison of Harbison Studio, will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, on the Upper Level Terrace of the iconic Gardens on El Paseo located at 73545 El Paseo in Palm Desert, California. Mama’s House will be hosting a fun private party at The Gardens that evening at 7:00 pm, featuring scrumptious hors d’oeuvres sponsored by Wally Desert Turtle, a silent auction, and music provided by DJ Bryan Eguez. The Fashion Show will commence at 8:00 pm.
“Runway For A Purpose” this year will spotlight the breathtaking creations of Los Angeles Designer Charles Harbison, making his Palm Desert debut. Charles Harbison is redefining what it means to create with intention in American fashion. The designer and founder of Harbison Studio builds collections not by seasonal demand, but by story, intuition, and artistic integrity. His garments – – bold yet tender, architectural yet fluid – – reflect a deep reverence for craft, community, and sustainability. Shaped by a background in architecture and textile design, Harbison is known for blending classical lines with global texture traditions to redefine luxury with a joyful elevated spirit. With art, culture, and sustainability at its core, Harbison Studio has garnered international acclaim, as well as, clientele. Harbison is celebrated for his bold silhouettes and modern effortless elegance. With fans like Beyoncé, Ava DuVernay, among other icons from both the fashion and entertainment worlds, Harbison’s show will definitely be a fashion-forward evening you will not want to miss, with a meaningful impact on the lives of young women and their children.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Mama’s House Ministries, which has been providing for the past 13 years a safe, supportive, loving, and nurturing residential home for women in crisis, whether pregnant and/or with an infant or small child, who have no place to go and no means of support. Mama’s House continues to provide HOPE and brighter futures to these at-risk women in our community. The new and expansive Anne Silverstein Campus for Mama’s House today offers these mothers and their children shelter and an extensive one-of-a-kind program, equipping these mothers with the necessary life skills for stability, recovery, and self-sufficiency. Mama’s House helps mothers find the courage to carry their babies to term when facing uncertainty and challenging hurdles. With its highly successful, faith-based Pathways To Success Program, Mama’s House offers a once-in-a-lifetime “hands up” opportunity for these vulnerable women wishing to change their situations.
