As a proud resident of the Coachella Valley, I’ve always believed in the power of strong networks and active engagement. That’s why I’m excited to support the Women Leaders Forum (WLF) and its upcoming “Let’s Interact: A Speaker Series.” This isn’t just an opportunity for local businesswomen to shine—it’s a chance for all of us, as a community, to play a role in empowering the women who are making a real impact in our valley.

The WLF’s 2024-25 season kicks off on September 5, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at The Classic Club in Palm Desert. I’ve experienced firsthand how meaningful connections can drive personal and professional growth, and the “Let’s Interact” series offers the perfect platform for that. I’m especially looking forward to the interactive session led by Kimberly Krause, founder of Konnections, who will be sharing practical strategies on networking. These events offer more than just learning opportunities—they’re a chance to connect with inspiring women leaders who are shaping our community’s future.

Stacie Hedges, Vice President of Membership, emphasizes, “Joining WLF offers an incredible opportunity to build a robust network of business associates and friends. It’s about lifting each other up and creating a supportive community where women can collaborate, grow, and thrive together. Whether a new resident or living here for years, WLF provides the platform to forge fruitful connections and empower one another.”

But WLF’s impact doesn’t stop at networking events. Through their Young Women Leaders program, they’re raising scholarship funds for high school seniors across the Coachella Valley, helping the next generation of female leaders develop their leadership, presentation, and business skills. Supporting this initiative resonates deeply with me since I have four daughters, so I realize that empowering young women today means building a stronger, more inclusive community tomorrow. I’ve always believed that by supporting one another, we can create a thriving, interconnected community. I encourage more men in our community to get involved with WLF, attend their events, and support the women who are driving change across the valley.

None of this would be possible without the backing of local businesses and individuals. Sponsors like Buzzbox premium cocktails, Desert Oasis Healthcare, and Desert Care Network. Their support, along with that of WLF’s valued individual and business members, drives the success of the Women Leaders Forum.
