It’s Splash Season at Palm Desert Aquatic Center!

It’s time to make a splash at the Palm Desert Aquatic Center (PDAC)! We are thrilled to unveil exciting summer offerings, including private Cabana rentals for fun gatherings, new dining treats at the Hot Spot Cafe, lots of new recreational activities like our Inflatable Obstacle Course, Climbing Wall, Rope Swing and Water slides. Plus enjoy health and wellness options like Lap Swim, Water Exercise Classes, Summer Swim Lessons for all ages and so much more! Palm Desert Aquatic Center is the place to be for summer fun!

SUMMER PROGRAMS:

  • DIVE IN MOVIES: Join Us for Enchanting Nights at the 2025 Dive-In Movie Series starting June 20 with “Sonic the Hedgehog 3”. Enjoy as Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to battle Shadow, a mysterious new enemy with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, they seek out an unlikely alliance to stop Shadow and protect the planet.

DETAILS: Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie begins at sundown. Tickets are $8 per person, with no charge for children under 2 years old. Tickets can now be pre-purchased on the website, at the front desk window at PDAC, or at the time of event until sold out. Select pool areas will be open, and slides and splash playground will be open. Our reimagined “Hot Spot Cafe” is offering snacks, refreshments and treats for purchase. With limited seating poolside, guests are encouraged to bring towels for the grass areas. No outside chairs/furniture, food or beverages are allowed (except bottled water in plastic containers).

  • HOT SUMMER NIGHTS: Join Us for the Return of Hot Summer Nights on Tuesdays and Fridays starting June 6! Enjoy the all of the amenities from 7:30-10:30 pm. Book a cabana, or find a spot on the lawn to enjoy the cool evenings and our great offerings from the Hot Spot Cafe.
  • JUNETEENTH: PDAC will open up all the amenities for this Thursday, June 19 celebration from 10:30 am to 5:45 pm!
  • JULY 4th CELEBRATION: Come for the cool pools and stay for the fireworks! We will be open from 12 noon until the firework show at Civic Center Park ends. General admission rates apply.

PDAC is located at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, on Magnesia Falls. For safety and enjoyment, please note that outside chairs, furniture, food, and beverages are not permitted (with the exception of bottled water in plastic containers). Participants must wear approved swim attire—no cotton or regular clothing will be allowed in the pool.
