A SUMMER PRIDE CELEBRATION IN THE ARENAS DISTRICT
Palm Springs Pride, advocating for equality and justice in Coachella Valley since 1986, is presenting the inaugural BIG Gay BBQ, a summer Pride month celebration.
Under the theme, Be Happy. Love all, the BIG Gay BBQ brings the community together to celebrate diversity and LGBTQ people of all cultural backgrounds. The open-air event features BBQ vendors, DJ Galaxy, DJ Modgirl, outdoor bars, and picnic games. KGAY 106.5 Palm Springs Morning Host John Taylor and Palm Springs’ hostess with the mostess Bella da Ball will emcee this fabulous finger-lickin’ BBQ.
Attendees can purchase BBQ offerings from Wholy Smoke BBQ, Melos Undisputed Barbeque, and special BBQ menus at Blackbook Bar & Kitchen, Deepest Cut Hospitality, and Chill Bar.

VIP tickets are available as a fundraiser to help keep the November Pride Festival and Parade free for all to attend. The $100 VIP includes a gourmet chicken and lamb BBQ dinner with exclusive seating from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Beverages from brands created and led by LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and women entrepreneurs and makers will be served to all VIP ticket holders by Palm Springs Bottle Shop.
