Animal lovers and those curious about the spiritual world are invited to a unique and heartwarming fundraising event, the Psychic Pet Pawraiser, benefiting the Coachella Valley Cat Club. Sponsored by Convergence Healing, the event will take place at Sottovoce Café and Wine Bar at The Gardens on El Paseo on April 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organized entirely by volunteers, 100 percent of proceeds go directly to the Coachella Valley Cat Club to support its efforts for feline welfare, including rescuing strays and abandoned cats, kitten litters born without a home, and caring for community ferals. The nonprofit provides rescued cats shelter, spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, and essential supplies for the cats.
The Pawraiser will feature an engaging lineup of intuitive healer practitioners, including psychics, tarot and oracle card readers, mediums, channels, and animal communicators. The healers volunteer their time to give 15-minute readings for $20 for a reading.
“Our goal is to create a fun, engaging event that can help people as well as animals,” states the organizer, Peter Bedard of Convergence Healing. said. “It’s also a win-win for everyone, healers gain exposure to new clients, the host venue welcomes new patrons, and the charity receives funds to continue its important.”
