For Star Wars fans, Disneyland’s Season of the Force is more than just an event—it’s a hyperspace jump into the galaxy far, far away. Running from March 28 through May 11, 2025, this limited-time celebration brings new experiences, exclusive merchandise, and deliciously themed food to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Tomorrowland.
This year, there’s even more reason to visit with two special ticket deals. Southern California residents can take advantage of a three-day, one-park-per-day ticket for just $67 per day (a total of $199), making it an easy and affordable way to experience the Force. Meanwhile, in honor of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary, the resort is offering a four-day, one-park-per-day ticket starting at $100 per day—perfect for extending your adventure beyond the stars.
New Attractions and Experiences
Season of the Force elevates Disneyland’s Star Wars experience with special events, nighttime spectacles, and updated rides. One of the biggest highlights is the debut of “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,” a breathtaking nighttime projection show in Galaxy’s Edge that takes guests on a journey through iconic moments from the Star Wars films. The show, enhanced with music from John Williams’ legendary score, is an absolute must-see for fans. Be sure to head to Galaxy’s Edge early for a viewing spot, as this one fills up quickly.
And for the first time, Luke Skywalker himself will make appearances in Galaxy’s Edge throughout the event. Meanwhile, Star Tours continues with its refreshed adventures that debuted last year and include beloved characters like Ahsoka Tano and Din Djarin, better known as the Mandalorian. Hyperspace Mountain has also returned to Tomorrowland, transforming the classic roller coaster into a thrilling TIE fighter battle.
On select nights, guests in Galaxy’s Edge can also witness “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a unique viewing of Disneyland’s fireworks accompanied by Star Wars music, adding even more magic to the experience.
Merchandise Worthy of a Collector’s Vault
No true Star Wars fan leaves Disneyland empty-handed, and this year’s exclusive Season of the Force merchandise is particularly tempting. The highly coveted Death Star Popcorn Bucket is a must-have collectible that’s as cool as it is functional, even lighting up with sound effects. The event will also bring Tauntaun and Clone Trooper helmet popcorn buckets to the park, plus an array of soon-to-be-sold-out collectibles sippers in the form of Coaxium vials and Jawas. Meanwhile, the lightsaber swizzle sticks—miniature versions of famous sabers—add a touch of the Force to any drink.
New apparel, pins, and accessories will be also be available throughout the season. One highly anticipated release is a Season of the Force collection by Ashley Eckstein, the voice actress who plays Ahsoka Tano. The neon collection features edgy apparel and a matching fanny pack. A brand new “May the 4th Be with You” collection will also release on May 4th, in honor of Star Wars Day.
Out-of-This-Galaxy Food Offerings
Food is always a highlight at Disneyland, but during Season of the Force, it becomes part of the adventure. Some of this year’s new offerings include a Fried Falumpaset Cheese Skewer, the Galactic Gyro Burger, Loaded Outpost Fries, and a Pistachio-Cherry Parfait.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Wookiee Cookie is a chewy oatmeal creation filled with sweet cream and designed to resemble Chewbacca’s bandolier. Churros are also getting a lightsaber makeover with blue or red sugar. Even if you don’t have a second stomach like a Sarlacc, there’s plenty to taste and savor before heading off on your next adventure.
Star Wars Nite: The Ultimate After-Hours Event
For the ultimate Star Wars experience, Star Wars Nite returns throughout April and May. This separately ticketed after-hours event transforms Disneyland into a Star Wars fan’s dream, with exclusive character meet-and-greets, themed fireworks, special event merchandise, and entertainment that only happens on these nights. The energy is electric as fans dress in their best Star Wars attire, lightsabers in hand, celebrating their love for the saga.
