ONLY HIRE A “LOCAL”, NON-TV/BILLBOARD, 1-800 FANCY SLOGAN OR NUMBER, ADVERTISING LAWYER. YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU.

You don’t deserve to suffer due to someone else’s negligence, so you must retain an experienced lawyer who will fight for the compensation you deserve. But what do you look for? I always preach, “don’t wait until it’s too late!” You don’t need a lawyer…until you do! So, save my number, 760.837.7500 next to a plumber, electrician etc., for a rainy day, and I’ll guide or find affordable options, when you do. Remain Silent, it’s not what’s said. It’s what the police or insurance company thought you said! They are NOT on your side; you’re NOT in good hands, and Your Friendly Neighbor will NOT give you a Piece of the Rock. EVERY 48 SECONDS, A DRUNK DRIVER MAKES ANOTHER PERSON ELIGIBLE FOR A DISABLED PARKING PERMIT.

What to do after a Car Accident? Check for injuries, Call 911, Get to safety, Pull off to the side of the road or to a safe area. If you can, move to safety and then document the accident using your cell phone to take pix of property damage, your injuries and statements with wits and the other driver. DON’T ADMIT FAULT. Notify your insurance company, or better yet, let your attorney do so because it’s not what you said, but rather what the police or insurance adjuster thought you said. Then consult with a lawyer… but how do find a good one. Certainly not a fancy advertising lawyer.

You want a lawyer with whom you have a comfort level; whose credentials show no prior misconduct and ones that have had cases like yours. Of course, you can go on line to read reviews and testimonials on their website. Ideally you want an award-winning elite lawyer with at least 20 years of experience.

If you’ve been injured in a CV accident, prioritize your safety and check yourself and others for injuries. When you call 911, request medical assistance, even if the injuries seem minor, as some may not be immediately apparent. Follow all doctor’s advice, whether on the scene, hospital or their office. Keep detailed records of your medical care WITH AN ACCIDENT CASE DIARY and Don’t Miss Medical Appointments.

If your personal injury claim needs to go to trial, records of your medical care can be used to determine your total damages. They can also demonstrate that you took your injuries seriously. Most importantly, and this should go without saying, these treatments should help you recover and move on with your life.

At the scene of the accident, use your cell phone to capture photos and videos of the accident scene, including vehicle damage, road conditions, visible injuries, traffic signals, and anything else that may be relevant to your case. Exchange contact and insurance information with the other party involved. Collect names, phone numbers, and statements from witnesses who saw the accident.

Next, file a police report. A police report is an official record of the incident, which can be critical evidence when filing your claim. When speaking to officers, be truthful and stick to the facts.  When reporting the accident to your insurer, be honest. However, avoid admitting fault or making statements that could be used against you later, and never talk to the adjuster for the other driver.

Reach out to an experienced accident attorney early in the process. Doing so helps safeguard your rights, collect evidence, and navigate the complexities of filing a claim. An attorney will also ensure you meet California’s legal deadlines.

When you call us, we provide a free 360 case evaluation. We help you understand your legal rights, and we guide you through the next steps. Unfortunately, when a lawyer advertises that they settled a case for $1,000,000, that may or may not be a good settlement. It’s good if the case was worth $500k, but not if the case was worth $2M and your lawyer didn’t realize it. You can’t hit a bullseye if you don’t know where the target is…and many lawyers don’t. However, advertising lawyers often don’t go to court and the insurance company’s know which lawyer go to trial to get a maximum settlement.
