Have you ever met someone for the first time and felt like you already knew them? Most of us have had this experience at least a few times throughout our lives. It is fairly common. The experience though, does not quite fit with any rational explanation, so we often just dismiss it as a mind trick or imagination.
When you recognize another soul through a magnetic pull on your conscious awareness, you can trust that the meeting was a spiritual set up. It is likely that your soul, and the soul of the other person, agreed to meet at that particular moment for a very specific purpose. You may not consciously understand what that purpose is, but your unsolicited intuition will never lie to you about a soul connection.
Our human relationships with other ensouled beings pose the greatest opportunities for soul growth as we live and breathe. The all-knowing part of you that designed your journey in a human body does not leave this important learning to chance. What this means is that the higher part of you has mapped out your meetings with other souls in accordance with soul contract terms. When you sense that pull to another person you are meeting for the first time in this body, you are receiving a clear message is to pay attention.
It may not be immediately apparent as to why you have crossed paths with the other soul, but if you want to gain greater clarity, and boost your ability to integrate soul learning, then start asking questions. Invite your inner spirit to enlighten you. Ask to sharpen your worldly senses in ways that will help you to become more aware of why you met the person in question and what your soul business together is.
- Was the meeting for your growth?
- Was it for their growth?
- Does the learning come through a single interaction?
- Does it come from you two knowing each other personally?
When you have more information about why you have met up with the other souls in your life, you can either expedite the learning, or go deeper with it to make the most of your exchanges. Since growth is your soul’s primary objective in this world, the more you attend to soul contracts with heightened awareness and purpose, the more you honor yourself. So, when you meet someone new, and have a sense that you have known each other in another time and place, listen to your inner voice. Know that this meeting may open you to your greatest opportunity for soul growth, or it may just give you a piece of information you have been missing. Either way, trust that it was meant to be and let the learning unfold.
