Marley, who has released 12 critically acclaimed albums, is the eldest son of music icon, Bob Marley. Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers, a band composed of Ziggy and his siblings, made their debut with “Children Playing in the Streets,” a track written by Bob Marley. The group released eight best-selling albums that garnered three Grammys and included chart-topping hits such as “Look Who’s Dancing,” “Tomorrow People” and “Tumbling Down.”
Ziggy’s first solo album, Dragonfly was released in 2003 and his second solo release, Love Is My Religion, won a Grammy in 2006 for “Best Reggae Album.” His fifth Grammy Award was given for “Best Children’s Album” for Family Time. In 2014, to coincide with the release of his latest album Fly Rasta (which earned his seventh Grammy Award), Marley released his debut children’s book I Love You Too. Fly Rasta includes hit songs like “I Don’t Wanna Live On Mars” and “Sunshine.”
