I believe that this year’s Stagecoach is one of the best yet. So many of my favorite artists are performing. Here are a few of my picks and suggestions for you to check out while you’re there or in the comfort of your own home on the couch on YouTube.
First, I have to say Jelly Roll. His story is real and relatable and the conviction in his voice when he sings is like he’s taking you to church.
Shaboozey, who also performed both weekends at Coachella, will be at Stagecoach as well. We caught both weekends of him. His set was packed with his best songs and his performance was high energy with his vocals on point. He really hit it out of the park both weekends. The first weekend he brought Noah Cyrus out to sing their duet “My Fault” and it was so pure and flawless. Let’s hope they do it again this time.
Other favorites are Dylan Scott, Luke Combs, Chayce Beckham, Connor Smith, Tucker Whetmore, Ashley McBride, George Birge, who did a show at Jackalope on Thursday, and of course our hometown girl Abi Carter. I was fortunate enough to interview two of my favorites for this week’s issue, Bryan Martin and Dasha. All these artists have been on fire this past year with top radio hits and top videos on the weekly CMT Country Countdown, which we watch faithfully every Sunday. We will also be checking out rock legends Creed.
Have fun at the festival everyone!
