As we cascade into our modern reality, in which purchases are delivered to our front door faster than we can send a birthday card across state, there births a need for all businesses to provide similar means of faster and more convenient delivery.

The concept of administering a tattoo to flesh remotely isn’t new. After all, nothing is new under the sun, as the Biblical scripture [Ecclesiastes 1:9] outlines. Yet in this circumstance, we are not discussing administering a tattoo in a public space (remotely). On the contrary, we are discussing the topic of having a tattoo come to you.

In the year 2024, mobile tattoo busses are becoming a popular option for this now booming industry. Sometimes, not everyone who is seeking a tattoo can drive to visit their shop or artist of choice. This may end in a tattoo prospect experiencing negative results. The client settles for a tattoo shop or artist more conveniently located, and the tattoo does not appear the way they had hoped.

At the height of the 2008, and beyond global economic meltdown, society had to become entrepreneurs all over again. The way in which we had been accustomed to living had to change. We had to learn to think outside the box. Therefore, if we couldn’t afford to keep a business afloat inside a rented office space, how were we to continue to do business and sell goods etc.? Thus, the concept of “mobile” businesses was born in earnest.

If you had been living or visiting areas such as Los Angeles during those dark economic times then you would have noticed a plethora of mobile food businesses driving up and parking at various locations throughout the city. This visual is what, in some ways, inspired artist Joey Chavez, now President of The Trusted Tattoo Company and creator of the Body Art Bus, to invest his faith, time, and passion into creating a new way of tattooing remotely. Remember what we had first talked about at the beginning of this article – “a need for all businesses to provide similar means of faster, and more convenient delivery.”

In Joey’s case, the goods are his artistry in tattooing. If a potential client is unable to travel, Joey’s Body Art Bus can now travel to them. This concept is especially significant when it comes to festivals, events, and other social gatherings. Imagine if you are attending your favorite baseball game. When the game is over, and you exit the stadium, perhaps you had thought about getting a tattoo but simply didn’t have the time to travel to the shop of your choosing. Well, with the mobile Body Art Bus (they may very well be parked outside one of your next events) the tattoo, and the expert tattoo artist has come to you.

In 2009, Joey Chavez took a giant leap of faith, which isn’t outside his usual way of living. Joey is a passionate believer in Jesus Christ, and the words and teachings of the Holy Bible. So, when he and his wife, who didn’t have substantial financial means, or steady work guarantees at the time decided to take their savings and invest $5,000 into building a mobile tattoo shop (with the help of Joey’s dad), the Good Father in heaven allowed their efforts to flourish.

Today, Joey runs the mobile Body Art Bus across Southern California, and its surrounding states. He also designs mobile tattoo busses for other tattoo artists to likewise pursue their dreams of using their artistic talents to earn a living.

Joey is the first individual in the state of California to be a fully licensed mobile tattoo service. For more information on Joey, the Body Art Bus, and The Trusted Tattoo Company, visit www.trustedtattoo.ink or call (760) 696-312.
