Two legendary groups will bring their iconic funk and classic sounds to the Morongo Grand Ballroom on Saturday, August 9.

R&B legends The Dazz Band and The Delfonics will bring smooth grooves and timeless soul to the stage at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa on Saturday, August 9 for an evening packed with funk favorites that defined a generation.

“The Dazz Band and The Delfonics helped shape the soundtrack of the ’70s and ’80s, and we’re thrilled to bring them together for one unforgettable night at Morongo,” said Amy Hunstock, Morongo’s Vice President of Marketing.

Winners of a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance, The Dazz Band rose to fame with hits like “Let It Whip,” “Joystick,” and “Swoop (I’m Yours).” Known for their infectious fusion of funk, R&B, and dance, the Cleveland-based group continues to wow audiences with high-octane performances that bring the party wherever they go.

Joining The Dazz Band at Morongo, The Delfonics are revered pioneers of the Philadelphia soul sound, whose smooth vocals and romantic ballads made them icons of classic R&B. With timeless hits like “La-La (Means I Love You),” and “Ready or Not Here I Come,” The Delfonics have influenced generations of artists.
