When we express ourselves verbally or through text, we make moves to build bridges of connection with others. This is because we collectively share a baseline understanding of the definitions associated with the words we use. Even cultural and regional communication barriers can be overcome by translating words from one language to another. Words themselves invite connection.
The connections we open with our words though, are not always received with open arms! There are, of course, many ways to hear or read words, but the energy signature you attach to your communications is what colors the message most. This is so because your words hold your energy. The words themselves are always meaningful, but the energy beneath them is even more important.
Your beliefs, the intentions you set, your wandering thoughts, and especially the emotional energy you generate before you speak or write, are captured in the words you use to convey a message. The person on the receiving end of that communication, depending on their sensitivity level, will pick up on that to varying degrees. They may or may not be consciously aware that they are picking up on your energy as you curated your words, but they will sense something beyond the words.
The energies you impart on the wings of your words are universally understood. The soul of the receiver knows how to read those vibrations and convey their essence through internal senses. This is why it is incredibly important to not only choose your words wisely, but to be mindful about the energies you are infusing into the words you use to communicate. Understand that your energy is what assigns deeper meaning to the words you speak and write.
Be conscious and authentic with the energy you convey. Think about what seeds you would like to plant across that bridge. Ask yourself what your highest objectives are with the connections you make before you speak or write. Then set your intentions with purpose and focus to align your energy with those objectives.
If it is your desire to impact the world around you in favorable ways, use your power to breathe compassion into your words. Open your heart, especially when prior exchanges have been contentious. Reveal the truest nature of your inner spirit in every word you speak, and in every letter you type. Be unobtrusive. Build that bridge of connection with light, because in doing so, you honor the receiver and the power of your spirit that lives within you as well.
