Week 7 brought with it a great time for the now regulars of the Tilted Kilt Open Mic Competition! Seasoned Open Mic-ers found a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and in turn, tore up the stage! Audience giveaways such as new movie release t-shirts and hats from the Mary Pickford theater riled up the crowd for voting time. At nights end Pharm Tecs brought a very tight performance and the rowdiest fans to take home 1st place and a Musicians Outlet Gift Card! Pharm Tecs, consisting of hip hop artists Rezident and Scoonz who are actual Pharmacy Technicians by day, will now compete in the finals for a shot at the grand prizes of $500 of music gear from Musicians Outlet, a studio demo recording from S.I.R. Entertainment Services and a 3 day trip to Las Vegas from Crater Lake Vodka! 2nd place was awarded to Charity Dumpit who brought a sweet soulful song to the stage and took home a Fascia Stretch Therapy Session at AcQPoint Acupuncture and Wellness Clinic from CV Weekly. Another talented singer, Ariss Durazo, broke out a country cover song, won 3rd place and was awarded a Swedish Massage from EstheticX.Obesssion Massage & Wax Bar.
