This Valentine’s Day, couples are invited to rise above the ordinary — quite literally — with an unforgettable evening at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. On Saturday, February 14, love takes flight as the iconic rotating tramcar ascends more than 8,500 feet up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon, delivering guests to a winter wonderland atop Mt. San Jacinto.
At the summit, Peaks Restaurant will host a special Valentine’s Day prix fixe dining experience from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering an elegant setting where romance meets panoramic alpine views.
The three-course menu is designed to delight, beginning with a choice of wild mushroom soup or a fresh baby spinach salad. For the entrée, guests may select from grilled mango salmon, wild mushroom ravioli, or a perfectly prepared petite filet mignon. To end the evening on a sweet note, dessert options include classic crème brûlée or an indulgent caramel chocolate crunch.
Valentine’s Day dining at Peaks Restaurant is priced at $89 per person, exclusive of tax, gratuity, and tram fare. Reservations are strongly recommended, as this evening traditionally sells out quickly.
For those who already have dinner plans, the Tramway still offers a magical way to celebrate the holiday. Couples can enjoy a romantic ride aboard the world’s largest rotating tramcar, taking in breathtaking sunset views as the desert floor gives way to pine forests and crisp mountain air. At the Mountain Station, guests can stroll the observation terraces, sip a warm drink, or explore more than 50 miles of scenic hiking trails — a unique Valentine’s experience far removed from the typical dinner-and-flowers routine.
Tram admission is $34.95 for adults, $31.95 for seniors (65+), and $18.95 for children ages 3–10. After 4:00 p.m., Twilight Tickets are available at a reduced rate of $31.95 for adults and seniors and $15.95 for children.
