On Sunday, February 26th, the Shops on El Paseo will be hosting the 3rd Annual Oscar Party on El Paseo benefitting Palm Springs Women in Film and Television educational outreach programs and its Coachella Valley BookPALS program that extends to approximately 2,200 local students weekly.
This year the event will be held under the stars, as the street will be closed between Highway 74 and Ocotillo. The street will be transformed into an elegant outdoor setting for cocktails, concert and Italian style dining.
Special menu by WP Kitchen, prepared exclusively by chefs from Spago + Bar, exclusive performance by Grammy winner Thelma Houston who will perform a “Tribute to Motown” and who has recorded 23 albums! Recently Thelma was featured on America’s Got Talent and a guest on The View! The stunning and talented actress, Donna Mills, will receive the Tiffany & Co. Legend Award. Donna is best known for the primetime soap Knots Landing in the role of Abby Cunningham, which made her a household name and one of TV’s biggest stars.
The evening will include Red Carpet Arrivals starting at 4pm with Dinner & Viewing at 5pm; followed by after Party at 9pm. Attire Hollywood Glamorous!
