Now that we are back in season there is no shortage of events and mixers to socialize and connect with local business professionals. The mixer takes place at the Palm Desert Design Center located at 73-185 A, Hwy 111, Palm Desert (near Panera Bread & Carl’s Jr.) Come for the great networking while you enjoy complimentary wine, champagne, appetizers, and art. You can also help support the Palm Springs Animal Shelter with 100% of your $15 donation at the door going to help this deserving charity.
Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which operates the city’s animal shelter. The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is an open admissions municipal shelter serving the city of Palm Springs and providing programs for animals, pets, and pet owners across the Coachella Valley. They believe every animal deserves a loving, safe, healthy environment in which they can thrive.
In a recent visit I found out the shelter is unfortunately 200% over capacity. The staff and volunteers are incredibly compassionate and work to transform the lives of the animals they care for through advocacy and humane education. To meet the challenge of compassionately operating a public shelter, Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter relies on donations, volunteers, community support and of course, ADOPTIONS!
