If you’re looking for a summer escape from the heat, look no further than the Kimpton Rowan. This summer, the downtown Palm Springs hotel rolls out a dreamy experience of seasonal bites, botanical cocktails, and even a high tea, plus fun activities like a postcard station, vinyl-listening station, and a brand new floral art installation.
Guests are greeted by a new floral installation as they walk into The Rowan. Designed by Barcelona-based atelier Wanda Barcelona, the paper floral installation hangs over Window Bar and sets a whimsical and enchanting ambiance for the Summer Soiree.
At the bar, guests are invited to enjoy an elegant High Tea experience. Available on Fridays and Saturdays from 2 to 4PM, High Tea features a selection of botanical iced teas served alongside tiered trays filled with delectable scones, sandwiches, macarons, pastries, and cakes. Sink into a comfortable couch in the lobby bar and enjoy sweet treats while sipping on the Scarlet Glow Up, a hibiscus tea with stevia leaf and lemongrass, served with a splash of lemonade. Or try the Tahquitz Tea, a golden black tea with lavender and lemonade. Or for a refreshing option, opt for the Mid-Day Mint, a mint tea with jasmine pearls. In addition to High Tea, The Rowan’s Summer Soiree includes a new lineup of botanical cocktails and seasonal chef bites.
After tea time, head to the Vinyl Listening Station at Window Bar to enjoy your soundtrack for the summer. Complete with a stereo turntable, headphones, and a curated selection of vinyl records, this station allows guests to immerse themselves in the perfect summer soundtrack. Nearby, the interactive Postcard Station lets you write and send pre-stamped postcards to family and friends. Finally, Summer Soiree heats up on Friday evenings with live music by artist-in-residence George Delegans.
