The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that acclaimed actor Tristan Rogers will receive the 471st star on the Palm Springs Walk of the Stars in the categories of Entertainment and Humanitarian. Known and beloved by fans worldwide for his portrayal of the charismatic and daring Robert Scorpio on ABC’s Emmy Award-winning daytime drama General Hospital, Rogers has captivated audiences for decades, building a legacy in television history. The ceremony will take place on Monday, November 18th, at 2:30 p.m., located at 849 North Palm Canyon Drive. The ceremony is open to the public.

Rogers’ portrayal of the daring Robert Scorpio, which debuted in 1980, quickly became iconic, winning him a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim for adding depth, excitement, and complexity to daytime television. Beyond General Hospital, his distinguished career includes roles in The Young and the Restless, The Rescuers Down Under, and Babylon. Alongside his achievements in entertainment, Rogers and his wife, Teresa, have lived in Palm Springs for over 30 years, where they are well-known for their philanthropic contributions. Frequently hosting fundraisers at their home, Rogers has dedicated time and energy to causes such as the American Cancer Society, the Desi Strong Foundation, and numerous other local charities, reflecting his commitment to the community.
