This Thanksgiving, take a break from the kitchen and treat yourself to a delicious feast at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, where Bistro, POM and Fresh Grill Buffet are offering Thanksgiving specials on Thursday, Nov. 28. The award-winning culinary team led by Executive Chef Freddy Rieger, have whipped up scrumptious menus for the big day.
At Bistro, enjoy an a la carte menu featuring either arugula and baby kale salad with citrus-dijon vinaigrette or wild mushroom soup with cognac crème and cremini chips and a warm French baguette with whipped butter ($14). The main course offers fresh roasted premium turkey, cheddar whipped potatoes and natural pan gravy, country-style cornbread stuffing with maple roasted sausage, sweet potato soufflé, bacon roasted Brussels sprouts and cranberry sauce ($36). A pumpkin spice cheesecake with whipped cream and cinnamon anglaise is for dessert ($12). 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Reservations recommended.
A fall inspired menu at POM also offers a la carte options starting with baby spinach and arugula salad with apples, walnuts, blue cheese and cranberry vinaigrette or butternut squash bisque with warm dinner rolls and whipped butter ($12). The main event is fresh roasted premium tom turkey, home-style mashed potatoes and pan gravy, cornbread stuffing with maple roasted sausage, cinnamon roasted sweet potatoes, baby green beans and cranberry sauce ($33). For dessert, enjoy home-made pumpkin pie with cinnamon whipped cream ($10). Noon – 11 p.m. Reservations recommended.
The Fresh Grill Buffet will feature an abundance of delicious options, so come hungry! Soups and salads such as grilled shrimp and chicken Caesar salads, caprese salad with Perlini mozzarella and grape tomatoes, Hawaiian-style ahi tuna poke, and Baja-style shrimp cocktail along with butternut squash bisque and Italian wedding soup.
Chilled seafood on ice such as gulf shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, Scottish smoked salmon and New Zealand mussels are also on the menu.
The carving board features maple roasted turkey breast, slow-roasted prime rib with au jus and honey mustard glazed Virginia ham. Chef’s specialties include grilled to order New York steaks, braised bone-in beef short ribs, baked Atlantic salmon Florentine, seafood fra diavolo with shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams, mashed potatoes with pan-style gravy, cornbread stuffing with maple roasted sausage, candied sweet potatoes plus a variety of Italian, Asian and Latin specialties.
