If the release of Battlefield 4 OR the release of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag wasn’t exciting enough on their own, guess what! They come out the same night! Whether you’re an FPS military hound on a mission, or the most feared pirate in history, on October 29th, your story begins.

It is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established a lawless pirate republic. Among these outlaws is a fearsome young captain named Edward Kenway. His exploits earn the respect of pirate legends like Blackbeard, but draw him into an ancient war that may destroy everything the pirates have built.

Pre-order Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, GameStop Edition, for exclusive in-game content such as The Black Island Pack! It includes: The dark and dangerous treasure-hunting quest: Black Island. The deadly Black Ship. Legendary silver flintlock pistols used by Captain Morgan. Valuable multiplayer items including Captain Morgan’s costume, picture, and title.

Battlefield 4 is the genre-defining action blockbuster made from moments that blur the line between game and glory. Fueled by the next-generation power and fidelity of Frostbite 3, BF4 provides a visceral, dramatic experience unlike any other. Only in BF4 will you blow the foundations of a dam or reduce an entire skyscraper to rubble. Pre-Order BF4 and receive the Battlefield 4: China Rising Expansion Pack!

If you still have to pre-order your copy of either game, go to GameStop in La Quinta, and get it! Usually I am a more neutral as to where you should pre-order you games, all major retailers have their perks, but this time, THIS TIME; I am involved personally.

The Midnight Launch is from 8pm-12am, with DJ All Night Shoes spinning live, raffle prizes throughout the entire night, and a 2v2 Battlefield tournament on 4 of Gaems Vanguard PGE’s. 22” LED 1080p screens, with crystal clear sound, ran by yours truly!

This is an all ages event, but remember, you MUST have an adult present to pick up any “M” rated title if you are a minor. There is no alcohol, or smoking within 20ft of store entrances.

As with all new game releases, I will be putting both titles to the test, and writing a thorough game review on each. Although at this time, I cannot say which I will be playing first, since both are equally awesome in my opinion. Which would you chose?
