Defenseman to Represent Firebirds at Hometown All-Star Classic
The American Hockey League announced today that defenseman Cale Fleury will represent the Coachella Valley Firebirds and the Pacific Division at the 2025 AHL All-Star Classic, presented by Spotlight 29 Casino on Sunday, February 2nd and Monday, February 3rd at Acrisure Arena.

Fleury has appeared in 19 games for the Firebirds this season, recording five goals and adding nine assists. The Calgary, AB native scored the first natural hat-trick (three consecutive goals) and hat-trick by a defenseman in Firebirds’ history on October 18th in a 6-5 win at San Diego.
Fleury becomes the third Firebird in team history to be named to an All-Star Classic roster, joining only Max McCormick (2023, 2024) and Ryker Evans (2023).

The two-day event will take place at Acrisure Arena and feature the AHL All-Star Skills Competition, presented by Silvercrest, on Sunday, February 2nd and the AHL All-Star Challenge, presented by Spotlight 29 Casino, on Monday, February 3rd. Both events begin at 6 p.m. PT.
