Help your Community by Volunteering on February 21 for HOPE Project in Indio
As part of the City of Indio’s 85th Anniversary Celebration, the City of Indio and Southwest Church will unleash HOPE in the Coachella Valley by participating together in cleanup efforts at various locations throughout the City. Come volunteer and join us on Saturday, February 21 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for this exciting opportunity. We will meet at Miles Avenue Park (82-540 Miles Avenue, Indio) at 8:00 AM for the kickoff meeting and receive team assignments. You can stay for partial or full day shifts up until 4:00 PM, where we will return to Miles Avenue Park for a closing ceremony and celebration!
This is a FREE, family-friendly opportunity to get involved in the local community. The cleanup effort will help keep the City’s parks and other facilities a great place for kids and families to enjoy. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and dress in comfortable work clothes (please bring work gloves if you have them).
