Yes, it’s true! You can raise money for scholarships while enjoying an amazing Italian Feast and chocolate buffet on Sunday, February 22 at 11am. Eat chocolate with the Palm Springs Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) at the 16th annual event, L’Affaire Chocolat, hosted by La Spiga Ristorante in Palm Desert. This year’s keynote speaker is Diana von Welanetz Wentworth, the author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Cookbook.
Save room for the famous 25-foot chocolate dessert buffet because the sweet treats are from some of the Desert’s best restaurants and chefs including La Spiga, Sherman’s Delicatessen, Wilma & Frieda, Exquisite Desserts, Cello’s Pantry, ShareKitchen, New Leaf Catering, Brandini Toffee, and many more.
LDEI is a world-wide organization of executive women in the hospitality industry that conducts fundraising projects and awards scholarships to women continuing higher education in the industry who are often the first in their families to attend college.
