Here’s a simple plan to kickstart your journey: Make physical activity a part of your lifestyle: We recommend committing to at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day, be it a brisk walk, a short at-home workout, complete gym training, or maybe half an hour dancing to your favorite songs. Choose what you enjoy to stay consistent.
Try to make healthy food choices most of the time: We know it can be challenging, but the 80/20 rule may be of great help. It basically means that 80% of what you eat should be healthy and nutrient-rich, but you can allow yourself 20% of guilty pleasure foods. If you have trouble figuring out your best nutrition plan, just DM us, our personal trainers will help you with a custom nutrition and workout plan that aligns with your fitness goals.
Set realistic goals: One of the rules of a successful fitness journey is to set attainable goals with defined time frames. For example, losing 50 lbs a week is unrealistic and actually may be unhealthy, but depending on your current weight, height, and age, you can set a goal to lose from 2 lbs to 10 lbs a month and easily achieve this objective. The same is true with muscle gain, endurance, and so on.
Find an accountability partner: Tell your friends or family about your plans or hire a fitness trainer who will hold you accountable and help you stay committed by encouraging you on the tough days and celebrating victories. Anything that can help you stay motivated and committed is a good idea!
Celebrate Progress: Even small achievements and victories count. If you focus on positive results, there’ll be more, so make time and acknowledge your achievements.
