Hunters Palm Springs has been a mainstay of the Coachella Valley clubbing scene in downtown Palm Springs—becoming the go-to spot for an electrifying atmosphere, bar style menu options, and a range of exciting events that make it a must-visit spot for locals and visitors alike.
Having celebrated its 25-year anniversary, Hunters is known for its inviting ambiance of acceptance and inclusivity. The friendly staff and welcoming patrons create a sense of belonging, making guests feel right at home. The vibrant decor and energetic music add to the overall excitement, creating an unparalleled atmosphere.
“My uncle started hunters in Chicago 42 years ago. He came out here in 1989. He’d always liked the desert and decided to move here. And then he left in 2006 to go open our location in Florida. I remember when I first moved here in 2000, and the summers here were dead. Every place closed at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. You couldn’t find anything open. And now, it’s hustle and bustle all the time,” stated Hunters Palm Springs co-owner Jen Seymour.
Seymour’s holds a degree is in engineering, and moved to the Coachella Valley in 2000, where she opened a small restaurant called Tomboyz. She sold the establishment in 2005 and began her venture with Hunters Palm Springs.
“I love being here. I love Palm Springs. Our customers are our family. We put our heart and soul into everything here. The employees are all my best friends. We’ve all worked together for 20 years. I’ve seen their kids grow up—from diapers to high school and going off to college and becoming successful adults themselves. It’s been a journey, to say the least,” shared Seymour.
Hunters Palm Springs will be hosting a special tribute to Duran Duran with three times the excitement, music and fun of the legendary band of the 80s. The public is invited to join in for a night of nostalgia and great music on May 25. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a 7 p.m. showtime.
Attendees are invited to come early for bar bites and drinks in the Beer Garden with plenty of outdoor space, and an opening band that will perform on the Beer Garden stage.
This Palm Springs mainstay invites guests to get ready to dance to all the hits from the iconic band, Duran Duran, followed by an after-show party with DJ’s spinning jams until closing. Tickets are available at Eventbrite and are limited. General Admission tickets are standing room/dance floor. To book a reserved table that includes admission, visit the official Hunters website.
“This is a great place to live and retire. I hope we can become a favorite destination for live music as well as the leading dance floor and world class DJs for Palm Springs,” expressed Seymour.
