Jewish Family Service of the Desert’s Auxiliary hosted its highly-anticipated Annual Auxiliary Luncheon recently to rave reviews! With an overflow crowd of 250 guests, this highly informative event featured Dr. Marc Milstein, an internationally recognized Brain Health expert, who is the best- selling author of “The Age Proof Brain,” which brilliantly delves into new strategies to improve memory, boost focus, protect sleep, reduce stress, strengthen immunity, and fight off dementia. Currently, Dr. Milstein’s book is on the Amazon #1 Best Sellers list in the Longevity, Aging, and Neuroscience category.
Dr. Milstein is known for taking the leading scientific research on health and happiness and presenting it in a way that entertains, educates, and empowers his audiences, by offering very timely advice and insights. Dr. Milstein has researched genetics, cancer biology, neuroscience, and infectious diseases, with his work being published in multiple scientific journals. Dr. Milstein utilizes his scientific training to catch the hype and inaccurate health headlines, in order to provide actionable, accurate strategies that present a clear roadmap to a longer, healthier, more productive life, all explained in an easy-to-understand and entertaining manner.

This recent fundraiser featuring Dr. Mark Milstein was a tremendous success, garnering the largest crowd for an Auxiliary fundraiser ever! Dr. Milstein’s presentation offered a good number of practical ways by which we can all “Age Proof” our brains, and I look forward to putting a good number of these suggestions into practice.”
During his informative presentation , Dr. Milstein offered practical research-based tips on how you can boost memory, increase energy, and lower the risk of dementia. Attendees definitely left this event with immediate tools, key solutions, and motivation to transform and maximize productivity and longevity.
“Our JFS Auxiliary had a great fundraising event, ” said Lois Gold, Auxiliary President. “This event supports the Family Giving Circle, which is our new program where we “adopt” struggling families, and provide them with financial assistance and support. Dr. Milstein helped us understand the most important things we can do today to help keep our brain vital as we age. Connecting the science with doable tasks left us hopeful and energized, while raising money for our communities most vulnerable.”
