11th ANNUAL HEARTbeat OF LOVE LUNCHEON ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2024 WILL FEATURE RENOWNED TV & FILM ACTOR JIM CAVIEZEL
By Madeline Zuckerman
Mama’s House Ministries is celebrating over 10 successful years of achieving its mission of providing a safe, supportive, loving, and nurturing home for women in crisis, whether pregnant or with an infant, who have no place to go and no means of support. Mama’s House is the only residential home within the Coachella Valley providing shelter to these vulnerable women and their children, offering an extensive one-of-a-kind program of HOPE, thus impacting families, communities, and generations.
In preparation for its highly-acclaimed 11th Annual HEARTbeat Of Love luncheon, scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, Mama’s House has announced highly-acclaimed TV and Film Actor Jim Caviezel, will be this year’s keynote speaker. Jim’s most significant film role came when he was chosen by Mel Gibson to portray Jesus in “The Passion Of The Christ.” His latest blockbuster film, “Sound Of Freedom,” which he considers the second most important role he has ever done, was released in 2023 and has become an international hit. This film exposes the horrific world of Sex Trafficking.
Co-chairs of this year’s luncheon are Jan Lupia, Co-founder and Executive Director of Mama’s House and Rachel Harrington, Managing Director of Mama’s House. Chris Margarites returns again to serve as the luncheon’s Emcee.
“Perhaps you have watched Mama’s House grow and thrive for more than 10 years!” said Jan Lupia. “And now, the Anne Silverstein Campus for Mama’s House will be open in the New Year, serving 4 times as many women and babies as before! Thank you for walking alongside us and giving financially. The Expansion Project is God sized and you believed with us that the funding would come. It has, though at this time we are just short of meeting our goal. We hope and pray you will continue supporting the expansion, to fill in the gap and the campus going forward as the need will be 4 times greater. Please call, I would love to show it to you and answer any questions you might have!”
This year’s HEARTbeat Of Love Luncheon, benefitting Mama’s House Ministries, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa, located at 44400 Indian Wells Lane, in Indian Wells, California.
On Friday evening, February 9, 2024, Mama’s House will host an exclusive VIP Reception & Dinner for major donors at a private location within Coachella Valley beginning at 5:00 p.m., with Actor Jim Caviezel in attendance. All table sponsorships include some admissions to the VIP Reception and a few include guests attending a private dinner with Jim Caviezel immediately following the reception.
