Mama’s House Ministries is celebrating over 10 successful years of achieving its mission of providing a safe, supportive, loving, and nurturing home for women in crisis, whether pregnant or with an infant, who have no place to go and no means of support.  Mama’s House is the only residential home within the Coachella Valley providing shelter to these vulnerable women and their children, offering an extensive one-of-a-kind program of HOPE, thus impacting families, communities, and generations.

In preparation for its highly-acclaimed 11th Annual HEARTbeat Of Love luncheon, scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, Mama’s House has announced highly-acclaimed TV and Film Actor Jim Caviezel, will be this year’s keynote speaker.  Jim’s most significant film role came when he was chosen by Mel Gibson to portray Jesus in “The Passion Of The Christ.”  His latest blockbuster film, “Sound Of Freedom,” which he considers the second most important role he has ever done, was released in 2023 and has become an international hit.  This film exposes the horrific world of Sex Trafficking.

Co-chairs of this year’s luncheon are Jan Lupia, Co-founder and Executive Director of Mama’s House and Rachel Harrington, Managing Director of Mama’s House.  Chris Margarites returns again to serve as the luncheon’s Emcee.

“Perhaps you have watched Mama’s House grow and thrive for more than 10 years!” said Jan Lupia.  “And now, the Anne Silverstein Campus for Mama’s House will be open in the New Year, serving 4 times as many women and babies as before!  Thank you for walking alongside us and giving financially.  The Expansion Project is God sized and you believed with us that the funding would come.  It has, though at this time we are just short of meeting our goal.   We hope and pray you will continue supporting the expansion, to fill in the gap and the campus going forward as the need will be 4 times greater.  Please call, I would love to show it to you and answer any questions you might have!”

This year’s HEARTbeat Of Love Luncheon, benefitting Mama’s House Ministries, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa, located at 44400 Indian Wells Lane, in Indian Wells, California.

On Friday evening, February 9, 2024, Mama’s House will host an exclusive VIP Reception & Dinner for major donors at a private location within Coachella Valley beginning at 5:00 p.m., with Actor Jim Caviezel in attendance.  All table sponsorships include some admissions to the VIP Reception and a few include guests attending a private dinner with Jim Caviezel immediately following the reception.

Sponsorships are immediately available starting with the VIP Sponsorship at $1,250 all the way up to a $100,000 Ultimate Sponsorship.  For sponsorship information, please contact Jan Lupia directly at 760-406-3413 or at 844-232-8622 ext. 6, or email event@themamashouse.org to reserve your sponsorship!

“As we approach our 11th Annual HEARTbeat Of Love Luncheon, we are pleased to announce Jim Caviezel as our Guest Speaker,” said Rachel Harrington.  “Many know him as an actor, but he also has a heart for philanthropy, making him a great choice for Mama’s House Ministries.  As our biggest fundraiser of the year, we look forward to a wonderful event made possible by both our faithfiul and new sponsors and attendees.”

Exclusive Media Sponsors for this year’s HEARTbeat Luncheon include THE DESERT SUN, Presenting Newspaper & Digital Media Sponsor, INLAND EMPIRE MAGAZINE, Exclusive Magazine Media Sponsor, KESQ News Channel 3, Exclusive TV Media Sponsor, and ALPHA MEDIA-PALM SPRINGS, Exclusive Radio Media Sponsor.

In March 2012, Mama’s House Ministries was founded and in July 2013, Mama’s House opened its doors to its first resident Mom.  Mama’s House offers a safe, supportive, loving, and nurturing residential home for women in crisis, whether pregnant or with an infant, who have no place to go and no means of support.  Wonderful support has been offered over the years in this home, with more than 380 residents and babies served.  Hope Center, the educational and counseling extension of Mama’s House, offers additional services to the residents, their baby’s fathers and often their families, while also providing many of these same services to the community-at-large. These services include, but are not limited to parenting, job and life skills, domestic violence and anger management classes, support groups for those wounded by abuse, addiction, abortion and more. Hope Center collaborates with more than 30 organizations including the Coachella Valley Adult School to offer high school diploma and GED programs, to further serve the residents of Mama’s House and the community.

Mama’s House has announced construction will be completed by the end of 2023 on the organization’s second residential property, the new Anne Silverstein Campus for Mama’s House.  This new five Casita Campus will quadruple the number of moms and infants it will serve. The Anne Silverstein Campus is an intimate, safe, secure, peaceful community of small homes which will include a playground, serenity gardens, patios, walking trails, as well as other amenities, thus creating a lifestyle of Hope, Healing, and Support.
