The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors Park is located on the southeast side of City Hall at Frank Sinatra Drive and Highway 111. This beautiful one-acre park features a pyramid kiosk, tiled benches, ponds, a hillside waterfall, and sculptures. The sculpture garden was designed as a celebration of life and to encourage current cancer patients to have the will to fight.
The focal point for the Rancho Mirage Park is a bronze sculpture by Mexican sculptor Victor Salmones entitled Cancer…there’s hope. Comprised of eight near life-size human figures passing through an abstracted tunnel the sculpture’s intent is to inspire cancer victims and their families to be positive and to actively fight the disease.
Restrooms and water available weekdays in City Hall, which is adjacent to the park.
One of 22 such parks in the nation, this park was constructed by the Bloch Foundation as a gift
Think let’s find a cure for cancer!
