Magic Cart Ride was founded by two long-time Palm Springs locals, Donnie Larson and Kathy Snyder, dedicated to sharing their love and knowledge of the city. With curated tours and genuine enthusiasm, they offer an authentic and unforgettable sightseeing experience for people visiting the area.

“We’ve had amazing reception since we started the business a few months ago.We have lots of five star reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp, and we keep getting bookings from those reviews. I had an interesting comment from one of our tours, where someone said we’re the only foodie tour. We’re on all encompassing tour where you get an adult beverage and food, and we do that stopping in at least 4 four restaurants that are all included in your fee,” stated Donnie.

Guests can choose from two tour times daily, Wednesday through Saturday, or contact Palm Springs Magic Cart Ride for a custom time and tour. If they are available, Snyder and Larson can make it happen. Tours times are 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tours are approximately over two-and-a-half hours long. The Magic Cart can transport a maximum of six people per tour, giving a sightseeing adventure downtown, and uptown, near the famous Forever Marilyn statue, and celebrity homes. There will be several stops for an appetizer served with an adult beverage along the route, (included with your tour fee). The tour cost averages $165 per person.

“We give an overall sample of Palm Springs. We do a little bit of uptown, which is the shopping district. We do a lot of downtown for food and beverage, and we do some celebrity homes. We touch a little bit upon modernism. We try to just bring out a little sampling of all of the culture of Palm Springs so that people can get an idea of what we’re really about. We try to support locally owned businesses and restaurants. We want to support as much as we can to bring more people into Palm Springs and to let them know where they need to go, for sure,” said Kathy.

In the future, Magic Cart Ride hopes to expand its partners and how they present the city of Palm Springs. There are several events lined up for 2024 that the business will participate in to further promote its unique tour experience.
