What a finale it was for the Grand Finals of the Open Mic Competition Summer edition at the Tilted Kilt on Wednesday September 17th. All 12 finalists put on thier best performance for an absolutely packed house and to impress judges Jim Bendis from Crater Lake Vodka, Tracy Dietlin from CV Weekly, Randy Hewitson from Musicians Outlet and SIR Entertainment Services, Gregg Aratin from Mix 100.5, Ted Hane from the Mary Pickford Theatre, Andrea Harvey from Wet n Wild Palm Springs, Linda Elizabeth from EstheticX.Obsession Massage & Wax Bar and DJ Chase Martinez from Jammin’ 99.5. At the end of the night, once all of the scores were triple checked, it was The Classy Mother F-ers who took home the first place title and were awarded $500 of music gear from Musicians Outlet + 3 days/2 nights in Las Vegas from Crater Lake Vodka + a Studio Demo Recording from SIR Entertainment Services.
