As temperatures begin to heat up in the Coachella Valley, the City of Palm Springs in partnership with the Community Action Partnership of Riverside County wants to remind citizens that Cooling Centers will be offered this summer in Palm Springs whenever the Riverside County Department of Public Health issues a heat warning.
Two Cooling Centers will be available at the following locations:
- James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center, 480 Tramview Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. (760) 323-8271.
- The Well in the Desert, 1281 N. Gene Autry Trail, Suite 0. Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (760) 327-8577.
